AS WE ROUND THE FINAL BEND IN THE COACHING JOURNEY, LET’S DO A QUICK RECAP
We’ve explored your approach to and intention around coaching. We’ve walked through how to set up a safe and effective coaching session. We’ve covered how to set direction and navigate roadblocks. We are starting to equip you with some brilliant tools to get into coaching. Now? Well now you arrive at the final session of this Coaching Mastery Intensive.
This session is ACTION & REFLECTION.
THE FOUR ELEMENTS OF COACHING MASTERY
ACTION steps into gear once DIRECTION has been set and a plan to navigate roadblocks has been formed. Once action begins, it’s about commitment to task, being accountable to the plans we’ve agreed on and hitting the markers we’ve predicted for success. Importantly though, moving into action is about giving support while habits change, and new behaviours are set.
Then REFLECTION; the last component in the framework. Here we ask you to look back on the coaching experience and assess what worked well, identify where you could innovate for next time, and think about continuously improving the experience.
Round all of this off, and we have completed our intensive look into the Coaching Mastery Framework. Let’s do this.

Once we have set our direction and planned how to overcome roadblocks the action begins.
But what if it doesn’t?

10 MINS
Do you ever wish you could just make people act like you want them to? Like a genie in a bottle, you cross your arms, nod your head, and hey-presto, they are acting like you need em to.
Never going to happen hey? Good news is though, you can put them in the place of most potential to change. This is your job as a coach. Read on to hear how.
10 MINS
If we study human brain function, we learn our brains are simply not wired for holding massive amounts of data.
Unless we meaningfully code our brain to incorporate what we learnt, we are far less likely to retain new information or improve the way we operate. Reflection facilitates the process of coding your brain to always be incorporating new learnings.
